Greenfield Police to Host Showing of Documentary 'Heroes Behind the Badge'

The screening will be at the Greenfield High School Performing Arts Center, 7 p.m. May 14.

As part of National Police Week, the Greenfield Police Department in partnership with the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund and Shielded Hearts will present a screening of the film Heroes Behind the Badge.

The screening will be at the Greenfield High School Performing Arts Center, 7 p.m. May 14.

Heroes Behind the Badge is a documentary film featuring some of the brave men and women of law enforcement who put their lives on the line and survived, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice. This inspiring documentary could change the way you look at the men and women of law enforcement and their unselfish acts of bravery they commit each day in the line of duty.

Its stories are powerful, emotional, insightful, and educational. The film features the inspiring story of Officer Ryan Williams of the Fond du Lac Police Department who was gravely wounded by the gunman that killed Officer Craig Birkholtz.

Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door and can be purchased online. All proceeds from the screening will go to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund and Shielded Hearts.
