Greenfield Squad Car Struck by Suspected Drunk Driver

The police officer avoided injuries.

According to WISN.com, a Greenfield Police officer was not injured when his squad car was hit by a suspected drunk driver Sunday evening.

The officer, according to WISN's story, was assisting a disabled vehicle on South 27th Street when a 52-year-old woman hit the parked squad car.

The women fled but was caught a short time later.

The Greenfield Police Department's Facebook page said the woman was arrested for her second operating while intoxicated offense and that "the officer sustained no injuries (luckily) and only moderate damage was done to the squad car."
