K9 Badger's Retirement Hits YouTube

If you missed his retirement ceremony last week, you can catch in on the web.

K9 Badger's retirement from the Greenfield Police Department was first documented with a "front page" story on Greenfield Patch, and then with a photo gallery.

But that's not all for one of the most popular members of the force. K9 Badger's retirement ceremony is now on YouTube!

The 8-minute video was posted Monday by the Milwaukee Emergency Center for Animals, which made a large donation to the department, to help purchase a replacement for Badger.

I've seen Badger in a school assembly. He's a very ambituous dog. Too bad we won't see him working anymore.

I've seen Badger over the years in community events and parades. I wish you a happy retirement Badger! Where will Badger go from him? Will the officer he worked with get to keep him? How does the officer feel right asbout now without Badger? What determines when a police dog retires other than an obvious inability to perform?

Steve, go down to the "village square" burn a blue fist. Or, maybe in front of WAL-MART.

As a producer I have better things to do. Drum circles are the blue fisters circle jerk.
