Milwaukee Man Allegedly Threatens County Bus Driver

The bus driver told police two men swore at him repeatedly before making an unusual threat.

In Jamaica, apparently, they do things a bit differently.

That’s at least according to one of two young Milwaukee men involved in an incident on a Milwaukee County bus on 76th Street in Greenfield on May 1.

According to a  report, the bus driver said the young men, one 18 and the other 20, were shouting profanities at the bus driver, and when he asked them to stop, the 20-year-old allegedly said that in Jamaica, where he was from, they cut “mother (profanity) head’s off for this.”

The 18-year-old man was apprehended near 76th Street and Holmes Avenue after the 20-year-old man ran in the direction of Southridge Mall. While Greenfield police spoke to the younger suspect, the older man called his cell phone and told the 18-year-old he was at the mall.

A Greendale police officer caught the older suspect near Starbucks at the center of the mall. That suspect told police that while he and his friend were talking, they may have accidentally swore and that the bus driver was rude for asking them to stop talking like that.
