Plush Greenfield Police Dogs Now Available

Fans of the Greenfield Police Department's canine unit members, DJ and Karma, can now bring plush versions of their favorite officers home with them.

Ever wish you could take one of the Greenfield police dogs home with you?

Now you can.

While supplies last, plush Karma and DJ dogs are available for $10 each (cash, check or money order) at the Greenfield Police Department, 5300 W. Layton Ave.

The department makes about $2 per dog, with proceeds going to the Greenfield Police Foundation, which assists in funding the canine unit. 

“It's more of a way to connect with the community and increase the visibility of our canine unit,” Chief Brad Wentlandt said. “Children love them and it fosters a positive connection between them, law enforcement and our canine unit.”

For those who want a dog but can’t make it to the police station, send a check or money order for $10 per dog plus $6 for shipping and handling (up to four dogs) to Greenfield Police Foundation, 5300 West Layton Ave., Greenfield, WI 53220.

Be sure to indicate which dog you want and include a return address.
