Police Blotter: Man Caught with Three Fake IDs

How about getting caught with three of them?

A 22-year-old man was cited for false identification after Greenfield police discovered he had three fake identification cards during a traffic stop in the 5900 block of West Layton Avenue at 6:30 p.m. July 22.

That and the following incidents were reported in the log for the week of July 16-22:

  • A 32-year-old woman was taken into custody for drunk driving, hindering and disorderly conduct after she was pulled over in the 6100 block of South 27th Street at 2 am. July 16. If convicted, it would be her third offense.
  • A Greenfield man reported to police July 16 he gave his girlfriend approximately $100,000 to invest, but believes she is using it to pay for the legal fees in a lawsuit filed against her. The investigation is pending.
  • An employee at , 4710 S. 108th St., reported a gas drive off of $54 at 6:40 p.m. July 16.
  • A woman reported her iPod was taken from her unlocked vehicle between 7:30 p.m. July 15 and 6 a.m. July 16, in the 3000 block of West American Drive.
  • A 35-year-old man was arrested for alleged drunk driving after an employee at George Webb’s, 6231 S. 27th St., reported he had been sitting in his truck in the parking lot for 45 minutes just after midnight July 18.
  • A radio and golf clubs were reportedly taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 5400 block of South Honey Creek Drive sometime before 6 a.m. July 18.
  • A 66-year-old man was cited for alleged retail theft at Pick N’ Save at 4 p.m. July 19.
  • Two women reportedly left Pick N Save without paying for $180-$220 worth of baby formula at 5:05 p.m. July 20.
  • A man reportedly forcibly snatched a purse away from an elderly female at Pick N’ Save at 8:30 p.m. July 20.
  • A resident in the 3700 block of South 34th Street reported a weed trimmer, air conditioner, fishing poles and other times were taken from her garage between July 17 and 2 a.m. July 20.
  • An outboard, black boat motor was reportedly taken from a residence in the 5100 block of South Honey Creek Drive sometime within a few days of it being called into police July 22.
  • An 18-year-old man was taken into custody for criminal damage /graffiti for the damage he allegedly caused to , 5200 S. 48th St., at 6:50 p.m. July 22.
  • A 19-year-old was cited for possession of alcohol by a minor, and a 17-year-old male was cited for unreasonable and imprudent speed, operating without a license and for having no insurance in the 4300 block of South 108th St. on July 22.
