Police Blotter: Police Investigate Robbery, Battery

This and other reports from the Greenfield Police Department from Sept. 5-11.

A 20-year-old man was battered and robbed during the night of Sept. 9, according to the .

The man's bike, wallet and backpack were stolen in the 4800 block of South 60th Street at 11 p.m.

The father of the man called police after he walked home.

Police continue to investigate the incident.  

The following are more incidents reported in the department's police log from Sept. 5-11:

  • A wallet was stolen from a customer at , 4265 S. 60th St., at 1 p.m. Sept. 5.
  • A red and purple Kawasaki jet ski was stolen from a yard in the 3600 block of South 34th Street between 3-6 a.m. Sept. 6. 
  • A 17-year-old woman was taken into custody for allegedly possessing drug paraphernalia and marijuana during a traffic stop at the corner of South 108th Street and West Howard Avenue at 6:45 a.m. Sept. 6. 
  • A 38-year-old woman was taken into custody for alleged shoplifting at , 4279 S. 76th St., at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 6. 
  • A 40-year-old woman was taken into custody for alleged shoplifting at , 4601 S. 27th St., at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 6. 
  • A 22-year-old man was taken into custody after he allegedly took a child from his ex-girlfriend's residence at 1:15 p.m. Sept. 7. 
  • A window on a blue Ford Focus at , 4610 S. 76th St., was found smashed between 2-6 p.m. Sept. 7. 
  • A 19-year-old, a 21-year-old and two juveniles were taken into custody for possession of marijuana at the corner of South Honey Creek Drive and West Allerton Avenue at 6:45 p.m. Sept. 7. 
  • A 22-year-old man was taken into custody for alleged drunk driving in the 2700 block of West Cold Spring Road at 3 a.m. Sept. 8.
  • A 39-year-old man was taken into custody for allegedly fighting in , 3740 S. 108th St., at 2:30 a.m. Sept. 9.  
  • A 20-year-old man was taken into custody for alleged possession of a control substance during a traffic stop at the corner of South 27th Street and West Ramsey Avenue at 10:30 p.m. Sept. 9. 
  • A 41-year-old man was taken into custody for allegedly driving drunk in the 2700 block of West Edgerton Avenue at 4:15 a.m. Sept. 10. 
  • A 36-year-old man was taken into custody after an alleged physical altercation with a woman at 1:45 a.m. Sept. 11. The man was also wanted on a felony warrant, according to police. 
  • A 32-year-old man was taken into custody for alleged drunk driving in the 7000 block of West Forest Home Avenue at 2 a.m. Sept. 11. 
  • A 53-year-old woman was taken into custody for allegedly putting out a cigarette on a girl's bare chest. The incident occurred at 3:45 p.m. Sept. 11. The location of the incident has been withheld to protect identities of the alleged victim and witnesses.
