Police Botter: Student Finds Frozen Cat
That and other reports from the Greenfield Police Department from Feb. 7-15.
A Greenfield High School student found a frozen kitten in the 4800 block of South 60th Street at 6 a.m. Feb. 8. The cat was taken to a 24-hour animal hospital.
The following are more incidents reported in the department's police log from Feb. 7-15:
- A license plate was stolen in the parking lot of , 4610 S. 76th St., between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Feb. 7.
- A 14-year-old boy was taken into custody Feb. 8 for allegedly slapping a girl's buttocks at the , 3200 W. Barnard Ave., the day before. The boy was booked and ordered to Childrens Court. He was released to a parent.
- Three students were taken into custody for posession of marijuana at , 4800 S. 60th St., at 10:45 a.m. Feb. 9.
- A 56-year-old man was taken into custody for alleged theft at , 4200 S. 76th St., at 4:30 p..m. Feb. 10. The man was booked and released.
- A 37-year-old man was taken into custody at 4:45 p.m. Feb. 10 for a theft that allegedly ocurred at , 4777 S. 27th St., a day earlier. The man was also cited for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked and released.
- A 18-year-old man was taken into custody for allegedly skipping out on the bill at George Webb’s, 7510 W. Layton Ave., at 2 a.m. Feb. 12. The man was booked and released.
- A 17-year-old was taken into custody for allegedly fighting at George Webb’s, 4160 W. Loomis Road, at 1 a.m. Feb. 13. The man was booked and released.
