Police Golf Event Organizers Seek Donations for K-9 Benefit

Area businesses can sponsor a hole during the tournament, or donate a prize for the raffle held the day of the event.

Organizers of the Greenfield Police Golf Invitational are still seeking raffle prize donations for their annual event to be held at Muskego Lakes Country Club on Sept. 14.

Law enforcement officers from around southeastern Wisconsin will participate in the event, now in its 15th year.

This year invitational will benefit the Greenfield Police K-9 Development Fund, according to Greenfield Police Capt. Jay Johnson. Since it was created in 1992, the K-9 unit relies heavily on private donations for funding the purchase and training of our K-9 officers.
