Shooting Suspect to Appear in Court Later This Month
Regina Rath is accused of shooting her husband to death.
A 45-year-old Greenfield woman at their home last month has a preliminary court hearing slated for July 28.
Regina Rath appeared in court this morning for an indigency hearing to determine whether she is able to pay for an attorney to represent her. If the court ruled she is not, she would then have a court-appointed public defender at a free or reduced cost.
Rath has been charged with first degree reckless homicide in the shooting death of her husband, 46-year-old Vincent Rath, , 4515 W. Morgan Ave., in a neighborhood just blocks away from both Alverno College in Milwaukee and Glenwood Elementary School.
