Snake Slithers Through Air Vents Of Apartment Building

The Greenfield police and fire departments responded to a call about a snake on the loose.

The Greenfield police and fire departments responded to the Coldspring Apartments at the corner of 60th Street and Cold Spring Road when a resident called to report a snake slithering through the apartment's air vents.

A police officer suspected the snake was a resident's pet, possibly belonging to a man who lived above the unit in which the snake was spotted. That man, however, was not home at the time of the incident.

Police and fire personnel captured the loose snake and place it in a bucket.
