Teen With BB Gun Arrested for Carrying Concealed Weapon, Police Say

The 14-year-old boy is accused of bring the gun, in his pocket, to Best Buy last week.

Greenfield police arrested a 14-year-old Milwaukee boy who they say had a BB gun in his pocket April 17.

According to police, an employee at Best Buy, 4610 S. 76th St., reported three suspicious juveniles were in the store at approximately 11:40 a.m. and that one of them appeared to have a gun.

Police found the three boys down the road near Breadsmith and found one of them, the 14-year-old, had the BB gun in his pocket. He was arrested for disorderly conduct and carrying a concealed weapon.

The other two boys were turned over to TABS, a county-run truancy abatement program.

According to the Greenfield Police Department log, the Best Buy employee told police the boys were in the store the day before and asked questions about whether the store had ever been robbed before.
