On Wednesday, a Best Buy security officer saw Burnside, Hogan and another man enter the store and begin to fill a shopping cart with items. Burnside pushed the cart while Hogan dumped $7,655 worth of video games and iPads inside.

Hogan and the other man then went outside of the store and got into a Chrysler 300, then Burnside ran out of the store with the cart without paying and began to load the merchandise into the car. A Greenfield police officer arrived at the scene at that time, so Burnside took off on foot, while Hogan began to drive away in the car.

Hogan sped away eastbound on Layton and the car was eventually found abandoned at West Loomis Road near South 47th Street. Another man who had been in the car was found by officers and said Hogan was the man driving.

Hogan and Burnside are currently being held in Milwaukee County Jail while awaiting trial.
