Two Men Arrested After Police Find Baggies Of Marijuana During Traffic Stop

One of the men fails to appear in court four days beforehand on a similar charge.

Two Milwaukee men were arrested Saturday afternoon when Greenfield police found more than a dozen small plastic baggies of marijuana in their vehicle. 

Angel Santiago, 19, a passenger in the vehicle, and Joshua Wilson, 19, the driver, were taken into custody in the at 5:30 p.m. during a traffic stop. Two other passengers were released at the scene, .

Santiago was wanted for bail jumping after not appearing in court four days before the Greenfield arrest to face a felony charge of possession with intent to deliver, according to the Wisconsin Court System database. 

Police officers smelled marijuana coming from the purple 1995 Saturn and proceeded to search the vehicle and the men, the police report said. 

The search resulted in the finding of 18 corner-cut baggies filled with marijuana hidden in the center console. Police also found burnt roaches in the ashtray, under the front passenger seat and in an orange cigar container along with rolling papers on Wilson, according to the police report. 

A total of $483 was found in Wilson's wallet, according to police. Wilson told police that much of the money - almost $400 - was already his, according to the report.  

As of Tuesday afternoon, charges were pending for Wilson and Santiago.
