WISN: Man Watches as Friend Dies of Heroin Overdose
20-year-old man dies in Greenfield apartment after apartment heroin overdose.
A man who was in the room as a friend died of an overdose at a Greenfield apartment said the incident shows just how the problem is growing in the suburbs.
Joseph Clark, who watched two of his friends go unconscious after overdosing on heroin, talked to Patch's media partners at WISN 12 News about the experience.
"They're passed out on the ground, and I've seen it happen before," Clark told the station.
Nathan Hartman, 20, died.

"He was a good dude, and I miss him a lot," Clark said.
No charges have yet been filed in the case, Greenfield police told Patch.
