On Feb. 23, a driver on westbound I-94 called police after seeing Ollman driving possibly intoxicated. The driver followed Ollman until a deputy pulled her over on I-894 near West Beloit Road.

Ollman had droopy eyelids and told the deputy she had taken Suboxone, but he found syringes and a burnt spoon in her SUV. Ollman told the officer she was going to be honest with him and said she’s a recovering “X” addict and she keeps the paraphernalia in her car so her kids can’t get to it. She then began to cry and told the deputy “it isn’t a crime to be high” and asked to be let go.

She was taken to Froedtert Hospital for a blood test, where another deputy found a bag of heroin in her boot. She again said she wanted to be honest with the deputy and said she had used heroin within the past 72 hours, but wasn’t high at the time of her arrest.

She’s currently free on $500 cash bond while awaiting trial.
