Women Poses as Best Buy Worker to Steal Cash From Elderly Couple

A 30-year-old woman was taken into custody after allegedly stealing money from an elderly couple in , 4610 S. 76 St. at 2:45 p.m. Jan. 31.

The woman, who was dressed in a khaki pants and a yellow polo shirt, allegedly posed as an employee. According to the police report, the woman took cash from the couple, who were attempting to purchase a television set in the store.

According to police, the woman then fled with the money, but returned. She was booked and released.
