Animal Shelter, Community Center Sign on Tap for Common Council

Residents will have a chance to weigh in on the Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center's proposed move from Southridge Mall to Greenfield.

Operators of the Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center - and the animals that rely on the center's services - will find out if Christmas comes early at Tuesday's Common Council Meeting.

There will be a public hearing to discuss the to 5101 West Loomis Road, the location formerly operated by Custom Design Associates.

At a Planning Commission meeting earlier this month, the board split, 3-3, on a motion to deny the request as proposed.

The article says this is in Greendale....I thought the location was in Greenfield.

Thanks Karen. The center wants to move from Greendale to Greenfield. The sentence under the headline has since been changed.

Thanks...small potatoes but I once worked as a proofreader so I am programed to watch those details. BTW, I think it would be a great move and another nice addition to GreenFIELD.
