Congressman Paul Ryan's to Speak in Greenfield Next Month

He will be the guest of the Whitnall Park Rotary Club at a luncheon in Greenfield on July 19.

The Whitnall Park Rotary Club announced Ryan will speak at its July 19 luncheon at Klemmer’s Banquet Center, 10401 W. Oklahoma Ave., Greenfield. Check-in is 11:30 a.m.; lunch begins at noon.

"We are thrilled to welcome Congressman Ryan,” Whitnall Park Rotary Club speaker/host chairperson Gilbert Frenn said in a news release. “He is a highly respected individual in political circles, and look forward to an informational and engaging afternoon."

Paul Ryan is a fifth-generation Wisconsin native, and was born and raised in Janesville. Currently serving his seventh term as a member of Congress, he is the Chairman of the House Budget Committee, and a senior member of the House Ways and Means Committee, which has jurisdiction over tax policy, Social Security, health care and trade laws.

People interested in attending should pre-register through Whitnall Park Rotary’s website. The cost is $15 per person for the two-entrée family-style meal. There will be no registrations taken at the door, and seating is limited.
