Election Preview: Wisconsin 7th State Assembly District

Democrat Daniel Riemer is unopposed in his bid for the state Assembly.

After defeating incumbent state Rep. Peggy Krusick in the August primary election, Democrat Daniel Riemer is facing no opposition in the 7th State Assembly District on the Nov. 6 ballot.

Krusick, however, has been working on a write-in campaign.

Riemer, should he defeat all write-in challenges, will represent a district with new boundaries this year in the wake of redistricting prompted by population shifts in the 2010 census. The district encompasses portions of Greenfield, Milwaukee, West Allis and West Milwaukee.
