9/11 10th Anniversary Ceremony

The Greenfield, Franklin, Hales Corners and Greendale fire and police departments will join to commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the 9/11 attacks on Sunday, Sept. 11.

The free ceremony is not expected to last longer than 30 minutes and is open to the public.

The Police and Fire Honor Guard will be on hand, as will the American Legion Post 416, which will provide a 21-gun salute.

The Greater Milwaukee Bagpipes and Drums will provide the music, there will be a bell ceremony in remembrance of the firefighters that died and a wreath ceremony.

Police and fire apparatus will also be on hand to be viewed by the public.
