Common Council Meeting

The Greenfield Common Council will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Aug. 16, in the council chambers of .

There are five public hearings on the agenda, in addition to other orders of business.

Included among the public hearings is a proposed amendment to the comprehensive land use plan adopted in 2008 as requested by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints to change a 4.2-acre parcel of the southeast corner of South 35th Street and West Barnard Avenue from "single family" to "community facilities" to allow for the construction of a 16,100-square-foot church.
