Planning Commission Meeting

AGENDA FOR THE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING TO BE HELD AT THE GREENFIELD CITY HALL IN THE COMMON COUNCIL CHAMBERS, ROOM 100, ON TUESDAY,  JANUARY 10, 2012  AT 6:30 P.M.

1. The meeting called to order and roll call.

2. Approval of the December 13, 2011 Regular Meeting minutes.

3. Discussion regarding the Common Council meeting held on December 20th and January 3rd.

4. Sabri Abdel-Hamid, Bright Rainbow Academy, 3207 W. Grange Ave, 53221 requests a Special Use Review as the new owner of the Reading Rainbow Academy day-care business at 3340 W. Loomis Rd., Tax Key #553-0435.

5. Amritdeep Kaur, Shubh Petroleum-TNC, 3840 S. 43rd St., #11, 53220 requests a Special Use Review as the new owner of the Loomis Citgo business at 5235 Loomis Road, Tax Key #648-0008-003.

6. Paul Sidhu, Forest Home Liquor LLC, 7640 Forest Home Ave. 53220 requests a Special Use in order to open a restaurant and serve alcohol products at the former Balkan’s Restaurant site at 7640 Forest Home Ave., Tax Key #605-9976.

7. Jeff Kohl, Parkside Wedding Chapel, 9008 W. Forest Home Ave., 53228 requests a Special Use in order to serve alcohol products in a private banquet room that would occupy the entire existing JSK Jewelers tenant space.  The intent would be to have this banquet room available potentially in conjunction with the existing wedding chapel business and/or for other private group functions; this banquet room would operate only with all the food/beverages being catered in.   Tax Key #652-9000.

8. Linda Green, Happy Endings No-Kill Cat Shelter, PO Box 070898, Milwaukee 53207 requests a Special Use in order to re-located this business from 5349 Forest Home to 3318 W. Loomis Rd., Tax Key #553-0440.

9. Ralph Hibbard, Rickun-Hibbard, PO Box 540, Mukwonago, 53149 requests a rezoning from   ‘C-2 Commercial’ to ‘C-4 Commercial’ for his parcel at 4201 S. 108th Street in order to make it uniform/consistent with surrounding properties and with the predominate zoning classification along Hwy. 100.   Tax Key #566-9962-001.

10. Discussion/decision on the request from Clear Channel regarding the determination made in 1998 about the continued use of nature scenes on the west-face of the billboard at the SE corner of 60th Street and east-bound I-894 on-ramp  (i.e. Mt. Carmel parcel – 5700 Layton), Tax Key #602-9947-003.

11. Continue the process of reviewing/updating the Sign Code.
