AGENDA FOR THE GREENFIELD POLICE & FIRE COMMISSION MEETING TO BE HELD AT THE LAW ENFORCEMENT CENTER, Court Room – 5300 West Layton Avenue, Greenfield, on MONDAY,  JAN. 9, 2012 AT 6:00 P.M.

3. Discussion/Decision to approve the Police & Fire Commission meeting minutes for the 2011 dates of December 6, 16, 17, and 18

4. Greenfield Police Department reports (Chief Wentlandt)

5. Greenfield Fire Department reports (Chief Cohn)

6. Discussion/Decision regarding the retirements of Assistant Fire Chief Steve Bauer and Fire Lieutenant Darren Almquist

7. Discussion/Decision regarding appointment and promotion to Assistant Fire Chief, with advantage

8. Discussion/Decision regarding promotion(s) to Fire Lieutenant, with advantage

9. Commission to go into closed session pursuant to Statute 19.85 (1) (c) (f) of the Wisconsin State Statutes. Specifically: (c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility, and (f) Considering financial, medical, social or personal histories or disciplinary data of specific persons, preliminary consideration of specific personnel problems or the investigation of charges against specific persons except where par. (b) applies which, if discussed in public, would be likely to have a substantial adverse effect upon the reputation of any person referred to in such histories or data, or involved in such problems or investigations.

a.     Chief Wentlandt will provide the psychological test results of an entry level police officer for the Commission to review.  The filling of this open position was approved by the Commission last month.

12. Discussion/Decision related to revisions and amendments to the Police & Fire Commission’s Rules and Regulations

13. Discussion/Decision to approve payment of invoices. This includes Invoice No. 101861125 from Occupational Health Centers in the amount of $486.00 as well as any other invoices received by the Commission prior to the Jan. 9, 2012 meeting

14. New items for placement on next agenda

15. The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Police and Fire Commission shall be held at 6 p.m. in the court room of the Law Enforcement Center at 5300 West Layton Avenue on Monday, Feb. 13, 2012
