Women, Infants and Children Clinic at Greenfield Health Department

A Women, Infants, and Children clinic will be held at the Greenfield Health Department from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. today.

Clinics are open every first, second, third and fourth Monday and first, second and fourth Tuesday of the month.

The WIC Nutrition Program is a federal program that provides food and nutrition information to pregnant, postpartum, breastfeeding women, infants and children under the age of 5.

Participants receive food vouchers for milk, eggs, cheese, cereal, peanut butter, dried beans and peas, tuna, carrots, fruit juices and infant formula; nutrition education and information; breastfeeding support; referrals to other public health, community, and health services as needed.

Those eligible are residents of the state of Wisconsin, pregnant women or new mothers, infants up to age one, or children up to the age of five who are income eligible. (Eligibility guidelines are set by the government and change each year).
