Flags at Half Staff Sunday to Honor 9/11 Victims

Gov. Scott Walker ordered the statewide tribute on the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

Flags in Greenfield should be at half staff Sunday to honor the victims of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

Gov. Scott Walker issued an executive order Thursday requiring flags at state-owned buildings to be lowered to commemorate victims of the attacks, first-responders who helped at the scene and Wisconsin soldiers killed in the resulting wars.

It also recognizes "Patriot Day," which Congress approved as a national day of prayer on Sept. 11.
