It never fails. You're sitting down to dinner and the phone rings, another call from a company trying to sell you something you really don't need.
To stop, or keep, telemarketers from calling, Wisconsin residents have until tomorrow, Aug. 31, to put their number on the state's No Call list.
Numbers entered will be added for the new list start date of Oct. 1, and the list is good for two years.
If readers don't remember when they last added their phone number(s), just go online by clicking here and add them again. Both landline and cell numbers qualify.
Telemarketers who violate the no call list can face $100 fine for each call, according to a story on FOX 6 News.
