POLL: Would Paul Ryan Make a Good Running Mate for Romney?

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker said Rep. Paul Ryan should be the selection, but several other candidates are out there.

Now that Mitt Romney is the clear choice for Republicans to run against President Barack Obama in the 2012 election, questions are circulating as to whom will be his No. 2.

Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan's name is one of a handful that continues to come up.

On Thursday, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker told The Weekly Standard that, his Wisconsin bias aside, Ryan should be Romney's choice and that he doesn't think "there's a better pick than Paul Ryan out there."

Yesterday the New York Times looked at a couple of popularity polls in relation to the vice presidential candidates, and Ryan was mentioned as someone who had a high level of support.
