Redistricting Battle Heating Up

Lack of public input at the center of the fight to slow the process down.

The Milwaukee County Board's redistricting map, which would reduce the number of supervisory districts from 19 to 18, continues to draw criticism from those who believe it was done so hastily and without proper public input.

The County Board by a 12-7 vote, but many believe the board violated the state's Open Meeting Law by voting on it without it appearing on the agenda.
