Ridge Community Church Plans Moving Forward

Plans indicate the west side of the building will feature a large entrance for the church where the current Walmart entrance is.

Two months after the city granted the Ridge Community Church permission to move into the soon-to-be vacant Walmart building on Highway 100, church officials will be back in front of the Plan Commission on Tuesday with design plans for the site.

Plans indicate the west side of the building will feature a large entrance for the church where the current Walmart entrance is. As many as two commercial storefronts would be located to the north of that entrance.

In addition, the church would have an entrance on the eastern end of the south side of the building.

Church and Walmart officials are also requesting a review of a parking agreement that would ensure adequate parking for both the Ridge congregation and Walmart customers.
