First Falcon Golf Open a Huge Success

Community members and golfers come together for the first annual Falcon Golf Open late last month.

On Sept. 23, 2012, Whitnall High School sponsored its first annual Falcon Golf Open. The event raised nearly $8,000 for our co-curricular programs.

Eighty golfers participated and almost 75 different organizations donated raffle prizes and/or money. On behalf of the Whitnall Athletic Department, I would like to thank all of those that participated in the event and a special thank you to the wonderful volunteers that made the event so successful.

We look forward to the 2nd Annual Falcon Golf Open in 2013!
