PAWS: Providing Adopters With Support

The Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center's free service for senior and special needs adopters.

The Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center offers several unique community outreach programs. This week we're highlighting PAWS: Providing Adopters With Support.

PAWS pairs special needs and senior adopters with trained volunteers who help care for their animal. Volunteers will make in-home visits to deliver supplies, provide advanced care such as ear cleaning and nail trimming, and transport to-and-from veterinarian visits. This service is free of charge.

For individuals that may be reluctant to adopt due to age or physical limitations, the Center finds the PAWS program to be the perfect solution. The unconditional love and constant companionship of a pet is like no other, and an animal gets a second chance in a loving home!

Steve, go down to the "village square" burn a blue fist. Or, maybe in front of WAL-MART.
