Support the Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center this Saturday by donating an item from their wish list.

The 7th annual "Tom Werowinski Food & Supply Drive" to benefit the Milwaukee Animal Rescue Center is Saturday, May 11, from 10am-4pm.  The Center, located at 5217 S. 51st Street in Greenfield, will be collecting items from their wish list to replenish their inventory of their most needed items.  (Of course monetary donations are always appreciated).

Wish list items include:

  • Purina Pro Plan (Adult Cat) Salmon & Rice
  • Purina Pro Plan (Kitten) Chicken & Rice
  • Tidy Cat (Clay) Cat Litter
  • Cat/Dog Toys
  • Cardboard Cat Scratchers
  • Scrubber Sponges
  • Dishwasher Detergent (Liquid)
  • High Efficiency Laundry Detergent
  • Washing Machine Lint Traps
  • Contractor Trash Bags (55 Gallon)
  • Anti-bacterial Hand Soap
  • Lint Rollers
  • White Printer Paper
  • Postage Stamps
  • Gift Cards (PetSmart, Petco, Office Depot, Home Depot, Menards, Walmart)

Tom Werowinski and his wife, Gail, adopted a dog named Dexter from the Center in October 2006. Tom passed away shortly after, but not before reminding the Center of the very special bond between animals and their humans. Dexter is still with Gail, living the good life every dog deserves.
