Election 2011: Bruce Bailey, Greenfield School Board
Bailey seeks reelection to Greenfield School Board
Greenfield School Board president Bruce Bailey, 4281 S. 81st St., is fighting to hold onto his seat and said his top priority is maintaining the current programming in the face of a difficult budget.
“We have to watch our tax dollars and where they’re going,” he said. “I continue to be an independent voice on the board.”
During his tenure, Bailey was the only board member who voted against a 4.4 percent pay increase for administrators in 2009 and voted against building a new administration building before the old one was sold.
