The first half of life is about establishing our identity, being preoccupied with finding a career, marriage, getting a home, education, etc. It’s about who I am, what I am worth and where I fit in the world. But those concerns will not serve us well in moving forward on a further journey. In this session, we will come to see that the heartbreaks, disappointments and failings of the first half of life are the stepping stones to the spiritual joys that the second half offers us. Come join us as we reflect on the words of great writers such as Richard Rohr and Ronald Rolheiser who explore the two halves of life as part of the spiritual quest, encouraging us to actively listen to God’s call.
