 Greenfield  See map

Learn the basics of home food preservation with Master Food Preserver Christina Ward, who will lead the class in the latest and safest science-based canning techniques. This is a “hands-on,” beginning class where you’ll not only have fun and learn as you go, but you’ll participate in a traditional “communal” canning session with a product swap at the end — and take home samples of everyone’s creations.

We will work together to learn the basics of creating easy and unique jams & jellies, ready for holiday giving.

All participants will receive handouts on techniques and recipes. (Most materials provided; student provides 12 half-pint canning jars.)

Instructor:  Christina Ward, State of Wisconsin Master Food Preserver (UW-Extension)
