Job Search Courage: Looking Inside and Out for Hope and Help

In this challenging employment market, job seekers must manage a variety of personal, print and web resources. Additionally, you are encouraged to explore deeper places within yourself for strength and guidance to be successful. Richard Bolles, author of the bestselling What Color is Your Parachute says, “In times of transition, if you happen to have an old faith hanging in the closet, it’s probably a good time to bring it out.”

This workshop will bring together leading ideas on resume development, networking, personal branding and job seeking along with opportunities to address the fears of transition. You will discover practical advice on job search strategies as well as find new perspectives, spirit and stamina for your transition. Format will include presentation, discussion and experiential activities.

Instructors: Thomas Bachhuber, President of The Center for Life Transitions, and Connie Popp, Alverno College Director of Campus Ministry and Board Member, The Center for Life Transitions
