Greenfield High School to Host Relay for Life

The event is in August, but registration has already begun.

Relay for Life, an overnight team event where students and community members have the opportunity to honor cancer survivors and remember those who have battled cancer, will take place at from 6 p.m. Saturday Aug. 5 through early the next morning.

The event is a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.

During the relay, teams of eight to 15 people will camp out at the high school and take turns running or walking around the track. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event to symbolize a cancer patient’s struggle through darkness.
