Greenfield Summer School Registration Begins April 15

Elementary and middle school registration will take place online from April 15 to May 24. High school registration is scheduled from April 15 to June 17.

Application materials for the Greenfield School District summer school program, available for students in grades K–12 and providing an opportunity for students to keep their skills current and expand their learning opportunities, will be available online beginning April 15.

Maple Grove Elementary, 6921 W. Cold Spring Rd., will be the site of the kindergarten through fifth grade summer school program. Greenfield High School, 4800 S. 60th St., will be the site of the middle school and high school programs.

Elementary and middle school program classes will be held from June 19 through July 24 (no classes July 4-5). The high school program is scheduled from June 24 through Aug. 2 (no classes July 4-5).

Summer school placement is based on students’ 2013–14 grade level. Except for a materials fee for some courses, School District of Greenfield residents, current Chapter 220, Open Enrollment and tuition waiver students can attend summer school at no charge. For all others, the cost is $75 for elementary level students, $200 for middle school students, and $400 for high school students.

Transportation is available to Greenfield School District resident students. Cost is $65 per student for the four-week session at the K–8 level and $100 for the six-week high school session.

Greenfield Parks and Recreation will offer early drop off care from 7-8 a.m. at Maple Grove and the School’s Out program from noon until 5 p.m. to elementary grade students. For additional before and after school information, refer to the Parks and Recreation website or call 414-329-5370.
