State Champions, Outstanding Students, Teachers and More Recognized
The Whitnall School Board celebrated many of the district's success stories at its meeting Monday.
Several members of the Whitnall community shared the spotlight Monday evening.
The Whitnall School Board recognized the students, teachers and others before its meeting in the Whitnall Board Room. Those honored were:
- Greenfield Chamber of Commerce award winners: ;
- Science teachers presenting at Wisconsin Society of Science Teachers convention: Laura Cerletty and Jessica Hoida;
- Herb Kohl Teacher of the Year: Cerletty;
- Teachers presenting at Wisconsin Technology in Education Association and Wisconsin Music Education Association conferences: Mike Hayden and Todd Stacey;
- Art award winners: Ashton Martinez, Alex Cimler, Isaih Haun, Tommy Gerke, An Liu, Cortney Tolson, Andrea Milosevic and Sam Dorlack;
- State gymnastics champions: Lauren Zurowski and Rachel Tillman;
- State powerlifting championship team;
- State diving champion: Rachel Stave;
- U.S. Naval Academy Summer Program participant: Rachel Boushon
