There's More to Jeff Wallack Than Just Football

The new high school football coach will teach special education at the high school after spending 13 years in the Milwaukee Public Schools system.

It has got to be an exciting time for Jeff Wallack.

On Friday, he in his first game as head coach, and early next month, he and his Falcons will open the high school's .

And let's not forget that Wallack and his colleagues will be opening the 2012-13 school year the day after Labor Day.

Patch: What school will you teach at, and what is your subject area?

JW: I will teach Special Ed and work specifically with CD student. I am also the .

Patch: What is your hometown, and where do you live now?

JW: Milwaukee

Patch: What college did you attend, and what is your prior work experience?

JW: Undergrad – UW-Milwaukee, 1998; Masters - National Louis University, 2009; taught for 13 years in MPS, including last six at Alexander Hamilton where I also served as school's head football coach.

Patch: Is there a particular reason you wanted to teach in the Whitnall district?

JW: Hales Corners is a great place to raise a family. The people have welcomed me in and made me feel very comfortable since my hire.

Patch: Do you have any hobbies you would like to share?

JW: Family, working out (both my wife and I are avid with this), and football

Patch: Tell us about your favorite summer vacation, either as a child or a grown-up.

JW: My favorite summer vacation is every summer I get to spend with my two boys and wife. One of the numerous perks being in education is it allows some time to have just for your family.
