Pitch, Hit and Run

Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit and Run competition being held at Greenfield High School Saturday, April 27 from 1-4 p.m.

The Greenfield Ignitors Fastpitch Organization is proud to present Major League Baseball's Pitch, Hit and Run Competition. This event is being held for all female athletes from 7 to 14 and is absolutely FREE for all participants.

This is the first of 4 potential levels of competition which could lead to a final championship at the 2013 All Star Game. The events consist of throwing at a target overhand for accuracy, hitting off a tee for distance and accuracy, and a timed run from 2nd Base to home.

This even will be held Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 1-4 p.m., at the Greenfield High School softball diamond (4800 S 60th St. in Greenfield). Participants are asked to bring a bat if they can. Participants are also required to provide a copy of their birth certificate for age verification purposes. Registration forms will be provided and can be completed before the event.
