Falcons Bounce Back From Loss to First-Place Lions

It didn't take long for the Whitnall baseball team to put a tough loss to first-place New Berlin Eisenhower in the rearview mirror.

One day , at home, the Falcons shut out visiting Pewaukee, 2-0, Thursday.

Josh Serio hurled a complete game, allowing only three hits with eight strikeouts for the Falcons, who improved to 11-7 overall and 6-4 in the Woodland Conference.

Serio got all the offense he needed early on. Geoff Wisialowski's RBI double drove in Ben Schaefer in the first inning and Brent Sluka's singled knocked in Marty Ordinans in the second.

The Falcons play a nonconference game at Homestead at 5:30 p.m. Friday.
