Greenfield Freshman Wins Junior Varsity Cross Country Race
She is one of eight Hawks to win medals at the Whitnall Invite.
Audrey Schmidt, a freshman, won the junior varsity girls cross country race at the Whitnall Invitational on Friday.
Schmidt's effort, a time of 18 minutes, 20 seconds, earned the Hustlin' Hawks one of their eight medals on the day.
Jill Dworschack (17:25) and Jamie Bernam (17:27) led the Greenfield varsity girls and Andy Sabinash (17:54) and Casey Sabinash (17:58) led the boys.

All 37 Hawks improved their times from the previous meet, according to coach Ernie Rosenthal, whose teams run in the Waukesha South Invite at Minooka Park on Saturday.
