Greenfield, Whitnall Golfers One Step Away From State

Local athletes are at the Franklin Sectional on Tuesday vying for state berths.

Only one meet stands in the way of local golfers and the WIAA State Golf Tournament.

The entire Greenfield team and two Whitnall athletes will compete in a WIAA sectional hosted by Franklin at Oakwood Park Golf Course at 9 a.m. today.

The top two teams and the top three individuals not on those teams will move on to next week’s state meet held at University Ridge in Madison.
