Play Ball! Greenfield Little League's Opening Day is Saturday

The Greenfield Little League opens its season with Opening Day ceremonies on Saturday.

Festivities begin at 11:30 a.m. when the Greenfield High School's Jr. ROTC will present colors.

Games are scheduled throughout the day.

The Klement’s Racing Sausages and the Greenfield Fire and Police Departments will be available for meet-and-greets with players, families and friends through 2 p.m.

A demonstration by the police department's K9 unit is pending field availability.

The ceremony will be pushed to Sunday at the same time should it rain.
