The Falcons hope to make the playoffs for a fourth straight season and contend in the Woodland Black Division.
The Whitnall Falcons football team went 4-6 a year ago and lost to Franklin in the first round of the WIAA playoffs, Whitnall's third straight postseason appearance.
All-state quarterback Joel Stave, a two-year varsity starter, and senior Luke Mentkowski has been handed the quarterback reins.
The Falcons play their first three games on the road this season, including the season opener at Germantown at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19.
