Whitnall Falls In Regional Final

Managing just two hits in the regional final game against Whitnall Friday was not enough to stop Muskego from advancing to the next round.
The Warriors got a run in the bottom of the seventh to defeat the Falcons 1-0, as the Journal Sentinel reports.
Whitnall's loss came despite the best efforts of Josh Serio, who struck out 11. The Warriors got an equally strong pitching performance from Josh Breider, who pitched seven shutout innings and allowed just three hits.
Muskego moves on to play defending state champ Oak Creek in the sectional semifinal game at 11 a.m. Monday at Whitnall. The Knights beat South Milwaukee 9-3 in their regional final game.
