Whitnall Loses to Eisenhower, Falls Short of Sectional

The Falcons could not overcome New Berlin Eisenhower's balanced attack and lost a regional final, 61-51, in a WIAA Division 2 regional final in New Berlin.

One night after a thrilling win over Milwaukee Bay View, the Whitnall boys basketball team’s season reached its conclusion.

The Falcons could not overcome the balanced attack of the New Berlin Eisenhower Lions and lost 61-51, in a WIAA Division 2 regional final in New Berlin. 

Star guard Reed Timmer was one of four Lions with 11 or more points; he scored a game-high 23 points.

Red-hot Danny Weymier scored 18 for the Falcons, who finished their first season under head coach Steve Kujawa with an 15-8 record.

On Friday, Weymier had a game-high 32 points in the Falcons 75-73 win at Bay View, including three points in the final 13 seconds

great heated game both teams gave it their all and in the end eisenhower was the better team. good job to Eisenhower.
