Calling on Congress to Control Couch Comfort

How can a person be to blame for sitting on your couch, for crying out loud? It's the couch creators' fault that people are losing control of the fat content, because the couch is calling.

In response to this Patch story:

All of this talk about the evils of soda & diet is miles of the mark. Sugar sanctions are no solution. Subtracting salt wont solve the stituation.

Fussing about fat wont free us of the whole fatty friction.

It's the COUCH -

It's the crazy levels of comfort created in our couch - it's those evil couch creators that are to blame for cleverly crafting commercials that cause kids to congregate on the couch.

It’s the COUCH that CAUSES obesity. Shouldn't the government be restricting the "comfort of the couch."

Perhaps if couches weren't so comfortable, people wouldn't sit so long after drinking their USDA approved amount of soda... I call for "couch control."

Let’s call on congress to control the corporate FAT cats creating couches.

It is a corporate FAT cat couch conspiracy that has caused the careening cholesterol levels of an unsuspecting and innocent couch potato constituency to swell and bloat with obesity.

The citizens of this once great nation are out of control and it is not their fault – they can’t be held to blame for sitting and swelling – they're not lazy – how can they be blamed for procrastinating their exercise regiment?

If those lousy couch creators hadn’t made that cleverly crafted couch look so inviting – people would be outside right now and working their fat off.

Let’s reduce the comfort level of the couch. Quit the couch craziness –

Call your congressmen NOW to END the COUCH CONSPIRACY.

Personal responsibility is SOOO overrated.
